Using my colour palette rich in purples, I've hand-cut incredibly 25 pieces of Dichroic glass, then after my firing process the characteristics come into play. There's organic and tactile textures in a purple/blue/green, a fine lined texture in purple/green that reflects a purple hue, a floral textured purple with reflections of green, a fine crinkle lilac, a shiny organic silver with hints of blue, smooth purple that also reflects a subtle olive green and accents of clear smooth vibrant red in the glass. I've hand-cut 10 pieces of Dichroic glass to this 4 layered design in the beautiful purple tones. The characteristics of the glass come into play after my firing process. There's only 2 colours used to create this design, the once smooth, has now become a course crinkle purple for the base and third layer, which has been beautifully contrasted with a dappled silver glass.
