This pair of cufflinks has been created with my warm colour palette. I've hand-cut 2 pieces of textured Dichroic glass, then after my firing process the characteristics of the glass come into play, to become an amazing organic piece in a vibrant burnt red/orange/copper/gold with tinges of blue and green through the texture of the glass, that also has reflective hues of cyan yellow/orange with blue/green through the texture in the glass on each piece. This diamond shape textured pendant has been created with my blue colour palette. I've hand-cut 8 pieces of Dichroic glass, then after my firing process the magic of the glass happens. There's a tactile, organic feature texture in turquoise with deeper blue and a delicate hue of purple, a floral texture in turquoise and deep blue, a pattern in a fusion of blues, a smooth light aqua, a smooth and dappled silver, a clear smooth aqua and turquoise that gives depth to the glass. This textured pendant has been created with my blue colour palette. I've hand-cut 6 pieces of Dichroic glass, 4 smooth and 2 textures, then after my firing process becomes a fine crinkle in silver and light aqua blue, clear smooth in light aqua and turquoise with random silver edges to give depth to the glass, a lined texture in mid-blue and a feature piece across the top in aqua blue with 2 blue lines that also has a reflective mid-blue hue in the glass. The once tactile texture in emerald with blue/purple lines has softened, the turquoise blue was smooth, has become a beautiful course crinkle glass and I've finished the design with a clear lime green/with random silver edges to give depth to the glass.
