Warm Textured Pendant – LP103 Launceston

I’ve hand-cut 10 pieces of Dichroic glass for this design using my warm colour palette. There’s a floral texture in sunburst yellow with tinges of green, a smooth honey gold, a tactile stripe in clear cyan that also reflects hues of blue, a smooth vibrant red, a beautiful contrast with a copper/black circle pattern down one side and layered with a clear gold abstract line pattern to bring it all together. This is a striking pendant!

Capturing the true lustre of my glasswork through the camera lens – simply does not do it justice. It’s only when you physically see it, you notice the beautiful colours shining through.

I named this textured pendant ‘Launceston’ as I wanted to provide an Australian edge to some of my pieces when I started on my glass journey many years ago.
