My hand etched ‘3 Cat Family’ pendant is framed in black to strengthen the design. The once smooth Dichroic glass has become a fine crinkle texture after my firing process and also produces an amazing hue of the fine soft honey oat with a slight tinge of green in the glass. My inspiration for etching the ‘3 Cat Family’ pendant came from supporting the National Feline Association for many years as a sponsor and showcasing my glass jewellery range. This pendant would be enhanced by wearing with a gold choker or chain and make a fantastic gift for all the cat lovers!
Capturing the true lustre of my glasswork through the camera lens – simply does not do it justice. It’s only when you physically see it, you notice the beautiful colours shining through.
