Silver Textured Pendant – LP201 Launceston

I’ve hand-cut 9 pieces of Dichroic glass and 2 black pieces for this design, using my classic silver colour palette. There’s a wavy texture in silver, a dappled silver texture, crinkle silver, a tactile clear silver with tinges of blue in the lines, strips of shiny black and smooth vibrant red, with a limited edition silver/black pattern down one side, then layered with a limited edition clear silver ‘cell’ pattern to bring it all together. This is truly a unique pendant!

Capturing the true lustre of my glasswork through the camera lens – simply does not do it justice. It’s only when you physically see it, you notice the beautiful colours shining through.

I named this textured pendant ‘Launceston’ as I wanted to provide an Australian edge to some of my pieces when I started on my glass journey many years ago.
