Silver Fan Pendant – F208 Asia

I’ve hand-cut 5 pieces of Dichroic glass and 5 black pieces of glass, to this 4 layered design in my classic silver colour palette. The characteristics of the glass come into play after my firing process. There’s a shiny black base and top layer, my limited edition ‘plume’ pattern in silver/black and a smooth shiny silver to create this striking pendant. For that special occasion, it would look fabulous on a silver choker!

Capturing the true lustre of my glasswork through the camera lens – simply does not do it justice. It’s only when you physically see it, you notice the beautiful colours shining through.

This wide Fan shape pendant I named ‘Asia’ is inspired by 3 reasons – my Chinese heritage, travel throughout Asia and my fan collection in my home.
