Blue Textured Pendant – LP404

I’ve hand-cut 8 pieces of Dichroic glass for this design using my beautiful blue colour palette – textures in crinkle silver, a clear lined light aqua blue, a floral texture in a clear light aqua, a smooth mid-blue as well as a smooth fusion of blue, all next to a dramatic ‘mushroom’ pattern in aqua/black down one side, layered with a clear silver pattern to bring it all together. Stunning symmetry!

Capturing the true lustre of my glasswork through the camera lens – simply does not do it justice. It’s only when you physically see it, you notice the beautiful colours shining through.

I named this textured pendant ‘Launceston’ as I wanted to provide an Australian edge to some of my pieces when I started on my glass journey many years ago.
