Warm Textured Pendant – LP107 Launceston

I’ve hand-cut 8 different pieces of Dichroic glass for this design using my warm colour palette – textures of gold with a hint of blue, deep red/copper/gold with a hint of green, a course crinkle copper, a smooth dark cherry/with a hint of purple, my limited edition dramatic gold/black ‘coil’ pattern as a feature down one side, all brought together as one with a clear abstract line pattern in a fusion of gold/copper and green. Simply stunning!

Capturing the true lustre of my glasswork through the camera lens – simply does not do it justice. It’s only when you physically see it, you notice the beautiful colours shining through.

I named this textured pendant ‘Launceston’ as I wanted to provide an Australian edge to some of my pieces when I started on my glass journey many years ago.
