Warm Textured Pendant – LP102 Launceston

I’ve hand-cut 7 different pieces of Dichroic glass for this design using my warm colour palette – textures of deep cherry red/copper with a hint of purple, a copper/red with a hint of gold, a clear gold/yellow with a hint of blue, a smooth gold and vibrant red, a dramatic warm striped mix that blends beautifully and a layered piece of smooth royal blue to bring it all together. This pendant has the WOW factor!

Capturing the true lustre of my glasswork through the camera lens – simply does not do it justice. It’s only when you physically see it, you notice the beautiful colours shining through.

I named this textured pendant ‘Launceston’ as I wanted to provide an Australian edge to some of my pieces when I started on my glass journey many years ago.
