Warm Fan Pendant – F139 Asia

I’ve hand-cut 10 pieces of Dichroic glass to this 4 layered design in my warm colour palette. The characteristics of the glass come into play after my firing process. There’s a dramatic ‘aztec’ pattern in gold/black for the base, a clear smooth vibrant red that gives the glass depth, a course crinkle lime/gold and accented with gold/black pattern. This unique ‘Asia’ fan pendant is striking!

Capturing the true lustre of my glasswork through the camera lens – simply does not do it justice. It’s only when you physically see it, you notice the beautiful colours shining through.

This wide Fan shape pendant I named ‘Asia’ is inspired by 3 reasons – my Chinese heritage, travel throughout Asia and my fan collection in my home.
