I’ve hand-cut 10 pieces of Dichroic glass to this 4 layered design in my warm colour palette. The characteristics of the glass come into play after my firing process, with an amazing limited edition gold/black ‘coil’ pattern that also reflects yellow/green for the base and third layer which I’ve contrasted with a smooth glass, in the same colour way on the other layers. This ‘Asia’ fan pendant is dramatic!
Capturing the true lustre of my glasswork through the camera lens – simply does not do it justice. It’s only when you physically see it, you notice the beautiful colours shining through.
This wide Fan shape pendant I named ‘Asia’ is inspired by 3 reasons – my Chinese heritage, travel throughout Asia and my fan collection in my home.
