Silver Textured Pendant – LP200 Launceston

I’ve hand-cut 7 pieces of Dichroic glass and 2 black pieces for this design, using my classic silver colour palette. There’s a wavy texture in silver, a fine crinkle silver, shiny black, a smooth vibrant red strip and down one side then layered with a clear silver ‘star’ pattern that also reflects a soft duck-egg blue that brings it all together. This would look fantastic on one of my silk necklaces!

Capturing the true lustre of my glasswork through the camera lens – simply does not do it justice. It’s only when you physically see it, you notice the beautiful colours shining through.

I named this textured pendant ‘Launceston’ as I wanted to provide an Australian edge to some of my pieces when I started on my glass journey many years ago.
