Silver Fan Pendant – F252 Asia

I’ve hand-cut 6 pieces of Dichroic glass and 4 black pieces to this 4 layered design, using my classic silver colour palette. The characteristics of the glass come into play after my firing process. There’s a smooth shiny black in the base, a clear smooth vibrant red that gives depth to the glass, a course crinkle silver and accented with smooth vibrant red. You can wear this pendant day or night!

Capturing the true lustre of my glasswork through the camera lens – simply does not do it justice. It’s only when you physically see it, you notice the beautiful colours shining through.

This wide Fan shape pendant I named ‘Asia’ is inspired by 3 reasons – my Chinese heritage, travel throughout Asia and my fan collection in my home.
