Blue Textured Pendant – LP405

I’ve hand-cut 7 pieces of Dichroic glass for this design using my beautiful blue colour palette – textures in a fine crinkle silver, a a dappled silver with tinges of blue, smooth glass in light aqua and a rich regal deep blue, a floral texture in mid-blue, all next to a dramatic striped pattern that’s a mix of blue on silver down one side, layered with a ‘wavy’ silver pattern to bring it all together. Stunning symmetry!

Capturing the true lustre of my glasswork through the camera lens – simply does not do it justice. It’s only when you physically see it, you notice the beautiful colours shining through.

I named this textured pendant ‘Launceston’ as I wanted to provide an Australian edge to some of my pieces when I started on my glass journey many years ago.
