Blue Textured Pendant – LP301 Launceston

I’ve hand-cut 8 pieces of Dichroic glass for this design using my beautiful blue colour palette – textures of silver/blue, crinkle silver, a wavy mid blue, a clear smooth light aqua for depth, all next to my limited edition dramatic ‘circuit board’ pattern of teal blue/black down one side, layered with a clear silver pattern to bring it all together. Stunning symmetry!

Capturing the true lustre of my glasswork through the camera lens – simply does not do it justice. It’s only when you physically see it, you notice the beautiful colours shining through.

I named this textured pendant ‘Launceston’ as I wanted to provide an Australian edge to some of my pieces when I started on my glass journey many years ago.
